Pink oyster is an exotic species called Pleurotus Djamor. The white is Pleurotus Florida. Both of them have excellent nutritional benefits.

You can push the perforated area in the box in to remove it. It would be best to cut the 'X' on the bag, which is now visible after removing the cutout. You'll be tempted to remove the plastic flap, but it helps maintain the humidity.

Depending on the humidity, you can spray it 2-3 times, ensure it doesn't dry out, and dont overspray.

The kit is ready to grow when you receive it. Store it in a cool place until opened. It is advised to open the kit in less than one week of receiving the kit.

You should place the kit in a naturally cool room away from direct sunlight. For example, you can keep it in your kitchen or dining room. 

The best time to harvest is when the mushrooms are fully grown and mature, you can identify by looking at the cap's edges. If the caps start to dry or curl up, then it's time to harvest. 

Mushrooms release spores when they are mature. That is how they continue the life cycle. Suppose you the mushrooms dropping spore harvest as soon as possible. 

You can get better results if you dip the bag in a bowl of water after cutting X. After the harvest, you can rehydrate the substrate before initiating a second flush.

It would be best to soak it for 4-6 hours or do it overnight. 

The white patch is a filter that allows the mycelium to breathe without other contaminants entering the bag. Even if it grows out of it, there is nothing to be worried about. 

There is no advantage in hanging it. The knot on the top of the box is to carry it.
